Benelli's latest combination of reliability and performance built around the proven Inertia Driven® system, the Ethos semi-automatic shotgun serves all your hunting needs. Clean, reliable, and adjustment-free, the Ethos' Inertia Driven system improves cycling speed, reliability, and the ability to cycle loads as light as 7/8 oz. up to 3" magnums. An elegant semi-auto, this gun combines a AA-grade Satin Walnut stock and forend with an eye-catching, engraved, nickle-plated receiver, and blued vent rib barrel. An interchangeable red bar fiber optic sight on the front and metal bead mid sight help you lock on to targets quickly. The Ethos' Progressive Comfort® recoil reduction system uses three sets of patented interlocking flexible buffers to absorb recoil at different stages to handle different loads. A beveled loading port, redesigned carrier, and new two-part carrier latch allows the shell to glide into the magazine for easier and faster loading. Cryogenically treated to pattern better and stay cleaner longer, the Crio® barrel on this gun comes with cryogenically treated C, IC, M, IM, and F choke tubes and wrench.

Have only owned about 3 months with about 500 rounds through it. Waited to buy until a demo was available with annual AZ game and fish outdoor show that permitted me to shoot several different shotguns at the great time. Also own a Berreta over under and a Super Black Eagle. Have always liked the function of the SBE but it is not a particularly good looking gun in black. The Ethos has great wood in it, looks like a high end gun and has functioned flawlessly. The recoil system built into the Ethos stock appears to work very well. The SBE is a pound or so heavier and my assessment is the felt recoil on the SBE is a little lighter when shooting the same rounds primarily based on being a little heavier. Benelli shim kit lets you adjust the stock fit. So far, would buy it again. Light and well balanced to carry in the field. Much less expensive than my Berreta but with better wood.
