I BOUGHT THIS AND SHOT A FEW ROUNDS OF TRAP AND IT FUNCTIONS VERY VERY WELL BEST SHOTGUN EVER AND VERY GREAT PRICE.

Purchased the Benelli Nova 20 gage pump shotgun for Xmas and was amazed how light and easy to handle this gun really was! Took it to the shooting range for a few rounds of trap. The gun performed perfectly. It was quick to get into firing position. Shells ejected without any trouble. I just love this gun!! The one I purchased had the 26 inch barrel. You can't go wrong with this gun. Thanks.

can you buy a slug barrel for this gun? if not is it ok to shoot slugs thru the existing barrel?

Both questions have the same answer. Yes. Shooting through the existing barrel make it less accurate though. But buying a new rifled barrel is expensive. Yes, replaceable barrels under shotgun are fully rifled. If your hunting deer, depending on your state laws, you can hunt deer with buckshot.Answers

Longer barrels are preferred for trap shooting. 24" is a bit short for a trap gun. If you are buying specifically to shoot trap stay with a 28" or 30" barrel.Q:
