With all the performance features of the M2 Field at a lower price, Benelli is pleased to introduce the M2 Semi Auto Shotgun.  Featuring the exact same proven operating system as the M2 Field, Benelli’s ultra-reliable Inertia Driven® system, the M2 gives you all the power and performance you want. With wonderful balance and easy swing, this workhorse also features Benelli’s Crio® System barrel and choke tubes for denser, more uniform patterns. Crio barrels and tubes are cryogenically treated to establish a uniform molecular structure in the metal for more consistent performance.

Great sporting clays gun I specifically chose a 20 gauge semi-auto for sporting clays as I wanted a gun that was light and had low recoil, one that I could shoot for hours. The Benelli M2 exceeded my expectations. It is well made, easy to field strip and clean, and a lot of fun to shoot. My son, who had bought a 12 gauge double for sporting clays, now uses my gun. Together we'll run over 200 rounds through the gun with no trouble. I would highly recommend the Benelli M2 in 20 gauge for anyone interested in occasional target shooting. I use Winchester steel target loads, and they work great in the M2--no gunk, and smooth and reliable function. October 12, 2013
The listing is incorrect The listing is for a Benelli M2 American, but the picture and the price are for the Benelli M2 Field. The Field is made in Italy and has the nicer Comfortech stock and forearm with the little chevron inserts on the side of the stock as depicted in the picture. The American is made in - you guessed it - America, and has a plain synthetic stock and sells for about $800 or so. Both guns are good values in the "you get what you pay for" sense, but this listing can't possibly be right. The gun shown and priced can't possibly be the American. September 18, 2013
Lightest 20 gauge out there Love this gun!! Bought it when i was 12 or 13 and i have probably put about 2000 round through it with it only jamming i think 4 or 5 times but that was only because i was trying to jam it. i will shoot anything you put in it! Since i got the american series (which is discontinued) mine only holds 3+1 round and that is plenty for me. The barrel is long for smaller shooters but was perfect fit for me. April 7, 2014
