Bringing modular design to a pump action shotgun, the Benelli 12 Gauge SuperNova Pump Shotgun can transform to deliver high performance shooting year round. With an optional SteadyGrip™ stock, this 12-gauge shotgun can be transformed into a high-performance turkey gun or mount a fully-rifled slug barrel for tack-driving accuracy on deer. Giving you the sense of having several Benelli shotguns in one, the SuperNova even offers a barrel option with rifle sights for home defense and a SuperNova Tactical fitted with a ghost-ring rear sight and pistol grip. (Additional barrels and grips sold separately). At the heart of this new pump gun is a lightweight steel skeleton framework over-molded with a high-tech polymer for a super-light, super-strong gun that is almost completely impervious to any weather condition. Just as tough inside, the SuperNova sports dual-action bars and two-lug rotary bolt head that locks up steel to steel inside the barrel, giving you a gun that is rock solid to the core.

Was on a <$500 budget and wanted to get into a good quality shotgun. Was open to any brand, but looked into Benelli on a recommendation from my brother. After reading any article I could find online I decided to go with the Supernova. I couldn't be happier! So far I've put about 500 rounds through and have not had a single cycling issue or failure to fire. Can't wait for the fall to come around and drop some birds with it.
Easy to break down and clean, zero recoil and worth every penny.

I just bought this gun the other day and it is awesome. I have not shot it yet but from the way the action cycles it shouldn't let me down. It is always very easy to disassemble and reassemble.

I just got this gun for the upcoming hunting season. I am left handed and wish I could of shot the gun before I bought it. The safety is really protected with the new trigger guard. I did not notice this in the store. Being left handed it seem it will be hard to flip off quickly as a bird flushes.
There is also very little info on how and why you would want to use the(angle) shims for the adjustable stock. The paperwork with the gun and their web site does not tell you how or why you might need it.

I bought this gun 8 months ago and put over 1,200 rounds through it and it has performed flawlessly. This gun is perfect for shooting singles trap (that is what I used it for mostly) and great for coyote hunting. I have come to the conclusion that this gun is better than any other gun in its price range and I know it is better than the Remington 870. It is also very easy to disassemble or reassemble and no tools are required to do that. This gun again shows the excellent workmanship and thoughtful design that is put into every Benelli gun ever made. By the end of my trap season, I was hitting 92% of the clay pigeons on average with this gun. As one outdoorsman to another, if you want/need an awesome all-purpose shotgun, GET THIS GUN.

No, it does not come in a left-handed mode. The only Benelli guns that come in a left-handed mode are the Super Black Eagle 2, M2 Field, and Montefeltro. I have SuperNova and I shoot it with my left hand because I am left eye dominant and it has worked just fine for me.
