Bringing modular design to a pump action shotgun, the Benelli 12 Gauge SuperNova Pump Shotgun can transform to deliver high performance shooting year round. With an optional SteadyGrip™ stock, this 12-gauge shotgun can be transformed into a high-performance turkey gun or mount a fully-rifled slug barrel for tack-driving accuracy on deer. Giving you the sense of having several Benelli shotguns in one, the SuperNova even offers a barrel option with rifle sights for home defense and a SuperNova Tactical fitted with a ghost-ring rear sight and pistol grip. (Additional barrels and grips sold separately).
At the heart of this new pump gun is a lightweight steel skeleton framework over-molded with a high-tech polymer for a super-light, super-strong gun that is almost completely impervious to any weather condition. Just as tough inside, the SuperNova sports dual-action bars and two-lug rotary bolt head that locks up steel to steel inside the barrel, giving you a gun that is rock solid to the core.

Simply Amazing I got this gun a few months ago and I love it. I've shot over 100 target loads without a problem. I've also shot around 50 3.5" shells through it while duck hunting, and have never had a problem. It is a well made gun ideal for both beginner and experienced hunters. I have always been an 870 believer, but this gun changed my mind. I would recommend this product to anyone and I will certainly be buying a Benelli again, hopefully a Vinci or Super Black Eagle. Max-4 looks outstanding. SuperNova has absolutely no problem putting down ducks, squirrel, rabbit, or dove. Very powerful and accurate. January 27, 2014
The perfect shotgun I bought the super nova 28inch barrel, APG camoflauge. I went trap shooting with it and scored 25/25 on the first round!!!. The second round went down to 24 ha!!. The action was a little rough of pulling it back but it just needed to be broken in. I love the signts on it. Its double beaded. It has a middle bead on the barrel and a red bead sight in the front. This ensures the shotgun is straight while aiming! overall the recoil is extremly low and it can hold the light 2 3/4 to the 3 1/2 magnums for waterfowl which you dont have to change any piece for the heavy or light loads. Just put the shells in and shoot!!. Laslty its easy to assemble and reasemble. But make sure the action is up when you put or take off the barrel because if not, then it wont go in. Its not like the usual pumps or the remington 870 when you have to have the action handle down. If you buy this shotgun, you wont be dissapointed! December 29, 2013
Duck Hunting A beautiful shotgun. I have had the gun for over a month now and I love it. I have dropped it in water, its gotten muddy, even been through snow. I haven't had it jam once. And I love the option to go all the way up to 3 1/2 inch, so I can use any of my buddies shells if I run out. Over all an amazing gun. December 19, 2013

Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, the plug can be removed. The instructions are in the manual. Keep in mind that the spring and plug are coiled tight so they will fly out of the tube if you do not keep a hand over the top.

A:
Never attempt to modify a safety. A gunsmith would cost a fortune, if it could be done at all. You would void your warranty and present a risk in the use of this fire arm by others you let use it. Sell the gun in question and take the money and buy the right gun for the user.
