I love this gun! It has not malfunctioned once and is incredibly reliable. It shoulders perfectly and shoots amazing. I can shoot this gun without worrying about the effects of the recoil. Get some good ammo and plan on a lot of good times shooting clays or hunting. I am relatively new to the shotgun shooting and hunting world but know that this gun is going to help me become much better. I would definitely recommend this gun to any shooter, new or veteran.

have had this gun for over 3 years now, shot countless ducks and geese with it, has been fully submerged in water on 3 seperate occasions and has fired with out a hitch each time after.
Handles the lightest skeet shot to the biggest 3 1/2" shells effortlessly, and is a dream to shoot. have owned 3 other 3.5" semi guns and this is the nicest by far.
Take down is easy, and cleaning is much easier than other shotguns due to the way the barrel is designed over the reciver, not to mention the fact its inertia driven.

I know several people who own this gun, and I shot a friend's before buying it. I purchased my in August of 2011. On the initial breakin 10 shots the cheek pad came out. I called Benelli and sent in the shots and they said they were going to replace the stock. However, the stock was not in stock and that it would be several months for me to get a new one. Today is Dec 7, 2011 and it just shipped 2 days ago.
I still went pheasant hunting in Oct and went to SD in Nov. It is accurate for me out of the box. If you have an accuracy problem you probably need to shim the stock.
I can't say that I am all that impressed with the bluing, it seems to wear off on the other guns I have seen rather quickly around the muzzle. If you are not careful the choke tubes can get rusted in as well.
