Prior to this turkey season I purchased the Benelli Nova and was impressed from day1. I paired it with an HS Undertaker turkey choke which I had used with other turkey guns that I previously owned. This one deffinetely takes the cake. Patterned with Hornady, Remington, Winchester, Heavy Shot, and Federal turkey loads. By far the best load was the Federal Flite controlled high velocity #6s. 78 pellets in the kill zone at 30 yds. So far this season I have taken 2 mature toms and the Benelli stopped them both in their tracks. Worth every penny, best pump turkey gun for the money.

I bought this last season for Spring Turkey season. For some reason I decided to not field test this gun before I went hunting. I brought this along for backup. Well, someone in my group forgot to bring their gun to the party and I decided to use it out of the box. I killed a young jake at 30 yards having only a view of his head. At 25 yards there was a steep wooded hill behind me. My guide told me he heard a bird behind us. I had about 10 seconds to turn, aim, and shoot (only seeing the head). Got em! I love this gun. Since, I have purchased the tactical and plan to get one more for my daughter!

This is the best pump shotgun I own. I've owned several different guns, and this one blows the all away. This gun is lightweight, soft recoilong, and cycles great. I use it primarily for duck, geese, and turkey, the camo finish is the deal breaker, it blends in with the cut crop fields as well as the spring and fall woods. Bottom line just buy it, you wont be disappointed.

Yes it comes with 3 factory chokes, improved cylinder, modified, and full with a choke tube wrench. I purchased an Undertaker vented turkey choke that has worked well for me. There is a full range of after market chokes available for this gun.

you need to get a rifled barrel if your going to use slugs for accuracyA:
Try a remington 870 either regular or even a rifled barrel/ with reg. 26in. barrel cobo for if you plan on deer hunting, the fully rifled barrel will bring more accuracy to the table, and thats with any shotgun. or just simply put in an rifled choke tube but it wwont be as acurate or have as much distance.Answers

Yes this gun is chambered for 2 3/4'', 3'', and 3 1/2''. Like all shotguns the 3 1/2'' kick like a mule and I see no purpose in them. I have taken several Toms from 40yds or closer which is my main goal with the 3'' with no problem.

Benelli makes a youth model 20 gauge, with a short stock. The 12 gauge has pretty heavy recoil for a its model, but if your childs thinks they're up to it, fire away.A:

Yes, at that age there is a lot of adjusting that will begin to occur. This shotgun has a short enough barrel and the composite stock reduces the firearm's total weight. This allows the shooter an easier time following the target and holding the firearm for longer periods of time.
