Featuring a lightweight and durable fiberglass shaft, this paddle helps you paddle all day long without leaving your joints achy.  The shaft's heavy-duty, push button takedown ferrule allows you to set the blades in-line or feathered left or right at 60 degrees for lower wind resistance and easy right or left handed control. Rated 5 out of 5 by Exellent Paddle I use Bending Branches paddles all the time. I'm an avid kayak fisherman and photographer. I love the way these paddles glide through the water. Light weight, great design, very durable, my paddle has a line and hook retrieval notch which is very handy as you know when you are in tight areas fishing. Touring & Recreational Paddles range from 210-240 cm long.

Individual height, boat width and simple personal preference might help you find the correct paddle length. Some general length guidelines:

.•Taller people and/or those with wide boats: 240cm or more.
•Average-size people: 230cm to 235cm.
•Recreational paddlers and shorter individuals: 220cm to 225cm.

Boat width is an important point that could result in an average-size person with a wide boat using a 245cm paddle. Consider all the variables and, if possible, try some paddles out before choosing a size.
