I've owned several Air Guns over the years. Mostly entry level type units. Recently, I picked up a very cool Gamo Big Cat 1250 and it was great, but I could not shoot it in town, :( Super Sonic rounds were just too loud, they sounded like a .22 Rimfire. So, I was frustrated, why have an air gun you cannot shoot? Enter the Excellent Beeman. A friend had one in .177 and at 1000 fps it was substantially more quiet and therefore backyard friendly. While shopping I found the Beeman Silver Kodiak X2 at a great price. It's like Two rifles for the price of one! Now, I have the best of both worlds, the .177 and the .22. With plenty of power for Target shooting and for the odd Varmint. All in a solid, good looking, but Much Quieter package. I am very happy with the purchase and the rifle ticks all the boxes for a great all around Air Rifle. Last, but definitely not least, is that it is very accurate in both calibers. I Highly Recommend this Air Rifle package.

Rifle is very solid. Scope is easy to mount but a little difficult to sight in. Rifle has a very hard trigger pull and a surprising kick that makes a stand with a clamp almost a must for sighting in. However I must say I am impressed with the power.

how much is the over all weight? how much effort to cock and load , how many pound pull to pull the barrel down to load?Answers
A:Â
Weight is around 8.5 to 9 pounds, but it is well balanced. It takes just over 30 pounds of effort to cock the rifle, but because of the close tolerances, it is smooth and it gets lighter with use. I hope that helps.Answers
