An easy way to fix many ill-fitting shooting situations and increase comfort. Comes with a 1/4", 3/8", 1/2" and 5/8" foam insert allowing the shooter to precisely achieve their desired stock length. Reduces hard hitting recoil up to 40%.
Rated 4.9 out of 5 by 20 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Shoulder Saver I have a 30-06 that had a recoil pad on it, but the old pad did not help my shoulder at all. I was only able to shoot about 10 rounds before it would start to make my shoulder sore. I put this new pad on and I was able to shoot about 25 rounds and my shoulder was not sore at all after. I like how I can decide how thick I want the padding to be for my own comfort level. June 27, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best there is I just purchased my second Beartooth Recoil Pad Kit. I needed a black one for my new black Escort 20 ga auto. These are simply the best recoil pads by far. They are top quality and fully adjustable to fit just about any length of pull needed. You won't go wrong with this purchase. April 25, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Product I used this pad on a laminate stock for my 10-22 Ruger. The new stock was a little short for me. This pad made all the difference! Good quality and fits well. The big advantage is the inserts to the pad. No tools and no gun smith. Try it, you will like it! July 22, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by best buy should have bought this along time ago, i have a camo stock , looks great and works even better, makes a day at the range with the 30.06 an easy one. pulled my groups in a little better , wasnt thinking about any recoil , just the target July 17, 2011

A type of neoprene material with smooth fabric on the outer side. The kit has layers that can be installed for the perfect fit and amount of padding.

A:
As it says in the description, it's a series of foam pads shaped like the butt of a rifle. You place the one(s) you need inside the heavy elastic polyester-type sleeve and pull it up on the end of your gun like a sock.

I have never tried it. I suppose it would. It would easily fit over a pad mounted directly to the butt plate.
