Mossy Oak Break-Up
An easy way to fix many ill-fitting shooting situations and increase comfort. Comes with a 1/4", 3/8", 1/2" and 5/8" foam insert allowing the shooter to precisely achieve their desired stock length. Reduces hard hitting recoil up to 40%.
Rated 4.9 out of 5 by 19 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by No miracle cure, but sure helped Bought this hoping to tame some of the wicked steel butt-plated recoil of my Mosin Nagant. Worked like a champ. This thing is still a mule, but it's a tolerable mule now. Only disadvantage is the pad squirms a little on the Mosin, but I didn't expect it to fit perfectly on an 80 year old Russian rifle, either. Rated 4 out of 5 by good purchase I have used this product and it works very well i used it on a 243 rifle which the recoil is not much but i used it for extending the stock because the butt did not fitmy arm properly works great October 3, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by A good deal The Bass Pro's product description was very help full I had the confidence it would fit may 5 1/4" Remington model 700 30-06. Having the thinner pads is a great idea to build up or down as required to get me beyond ten rounds pain free. The camo version actually looks cool to. August 3, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Impressive! I put these on my shotgun because I am sensitive to recoil. My shotgun kicks significantly less, and I am super impressed. It's very cheap and I would recommend this to anyone! June 19, 2013

A:
As it says in the description, it's a series of foam pads shaped like the butt of a rifle. You place the one(s) you need inside the heavy elastic polyester-type sleeve and pull it up on the end of your gun like a sock.

Probably somewhat too large but it can be easily trimmed down to the right size.
