Beartooth Comb Raising Kits
works okay once it's on
I purchased the comb raising kit while trying to decide whether to have an adjustable comb installed on a shotgun. This kit has a variety of foam pads that will get you almost any height you'd need. Try using blue painters tape to keep the foam pieces in place while putting on the neoprene sleeve.
Once installed, the sleeve and foam pads are pretty solid. Getting the sleeve on, however, is a real pain in the rear. Do not consider this something to install and remove repeatedly.
Frankly, what you get (a stitched-together piece of neoprene and a few shaped foam pieces) seems pretty meager for the price, but it did what I wanted it to.

Waste of time and money
I purchased this product because it was the only cheek pad product available at my local Bass Pro.
After seeing other reviews that it was "a bit difficult to get on", thinking how hard could it be. It was such a pain to get onto my rifle that I nearly gave up on it. And once it was on it looked about as good as if I had tied an old t-shirt around my stock with a bit of cheap foam underneath.
Definitely save your money and buy a proper cheek pad for your stock that just straps or ties on.

difficult to set up but will work
I bought this to replace a blackhawk cheek rest with the velcro straps as I didn't like how the straps (1) needed to be strapped and (2) had a lot of loose strap hanging off my rifle once the rest was on. I thought this was too much going on for a hunting rifle that could make noise. I liked the idea of the slip on rest that I would never have to worry about. The problem with the beartooth kit was that I couldn't get it on to my satisfaction, and I needed someone to help me pull it on the first time as it was so tight. Once it is on, it will work fine, but be prepared to struggle getting it on especially if you are trying to put the bigger pads underneath it - they want to just move back when you pull the spandex cover back. Summary is I'm sticking with the blackhawk.

After researching online for a comb raising kit, I found this one at a very reasonable price and the camo pattern that matched my gun. Order was easy and shipping was about 4 days. The instructions were clear and I installed the kit in about 10 minutes, including reading the instructions. This kit will raise the comb from 1/4 inch to almost 1 1/2 inches if needed. I tried the shotgun the next day, to pattern for turkey season and it was a perfect fit and it reduced the felt recoil as my cheek now has proper stock weld with a holographic sight installed on the shotgun. Thanks for a great product and a great price. I installed it on a Benelli nova, youth model 20ga. Using Hevi-shot Hevi13 #6 shot, it is a turkey killer. I have shot 2 so far with it, one at 12 yards and 1 at 42 yards.
