Excellent bow for youth archers with minimum to intermediate level of experience and instruction. In my opinion and not taking into consideration additional costs for accessories, which is matter of preference anyway, such as a quality target, plenty of extra arrows, stabilizer, target quiver, knocks, release, peep-sight or kisser button, the quality of the bow itself for the price can't be beat compared to other youth archery packages without doubling the cost. The draw length and draw weight adjustment ranges are ideal for kids ages 7 and up. The Bear® Archery Warrior III Compound Bow outclasses previous models without a huge difference in cost. This bow is NOT "ready to shoot" right out of the package. Like most bows, the bow takes some initial adjusting to fit the archers draw length, draw weight and patience. The quiver, arrows and arrow knocks that come with the package are less than satisfactory but easily remedied by purchasing them separately. Like any piece of archery equipment, proper adjustments and fitting guidance questions should be directed to an authorized archery pro. Two thumbs up!

The quality of this bow is good. The arrows are junk. The draw weight can only be changed very slightly. After one full turn of an allen wrench to lower the poundage, the cables slap loosely, and the limbs became loose in the pivot. I gave this to my 7 year old grandson and he could not pull it back. I will keep it and take it to a local archery shop to see what can be done to lower the poundage.

This is a great bow, but it is a toy. it shoots well, but does not have much power and the sight is useless. My 9 year old loves it, but as soon as he is comfortable shooting I am going to step him up.
