I am new to the archery world. bought this bow at bps in sav ga, salesman was awesome. he set the bow up for me got me zeroed in and off I went to the local archery range. on my third shot I split an arrow at 30yds. All my groups are less than 1.5'' out to 50 yards. 2 trips later I had her sighted in I shot a 200lb hog with complete pass through at 45yds awesome product love it. I think my days of rifle hunting are over. Also at range there are guys with very high end bows that get mad at me because I only been bow hunting 2 weeks and my bow is a fraction of the cost of theres and my bow is way more accurate.

Purchased this about 1 1/2 years ago, had a local bow shop do the initial set-up, found it to be noisy at first, addition of a few limb saver products and it settled right down, not silent but nothing is. 29 inch draw length at 60 lb draw weight set, good out to 50 yards in coffee cup size groups when I'm feeling it, dinner plate size when I'm wavering. Good bow for the price, I'd probably step up a few bucks on the next bow now that I have worked out the kinks and gone thru the learning curve on doing my own serving, d-loops etc but fully expect to be hunting with this bow for several years. Have used this bow in temperatures from spring turkey to mid winter deer, Bear makes solid products.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anrique Good Bow for the Price
Bought this bow on 11/22/13 and arrows on 11/30/13. This is a good purchase for the price. The guys helped me adjust the draw length and the arrows. They also helped me adjust the site so I could shoot good. I'm still having trouble at 30yards, but practice makes perfect. I gave this bow a 4 start because the grip is plastic, and only glued on. It was already coming off before I purchased the bow. The only thing they did was add more glue to it, but it still comes off. Quality of that piece was cheap, and possibily overlooked. But overall, it's a good bow especially with the 50lbs of adjustment. I adjusted it down to 45lbs for me, and it's pretty good so far. First compound bow I've owned.

I have only owned this bow for a week now but what can I say about it so far is WOW! I haven't shot a compound bow since the 80's and honestly I wasn't very good back then. Maybe technology got better or this bow is that good cause once I got set up I got it home and fired six or so arrows in a 3" group at a measured 36ft. That might not seem to impressive to some of you seasoned archery pro's but that was my first bow shot in 25 years! The groups are getting tighter as well with little adjustment to the bow itself. Just some small sight adjustment and it could be due to the close range shooting. Bow is quiet as well and good looking. Really get allot for your $ I believe and it's hard to go wrong with Bear brand bows. I would buy this without any reserve at all! Plus this bow is so adjustable without a bench that my 14 year old daughter can shoot it.
