Rated 5 out of 5 by Great bow This was my first bow. I only have good things to say about it! Easy to adjust and set up. Had 4 inch groupings at 25yds first time shooting, Its fast, smooth, and fun to shoot, lookiong forward to the up coming season! July 29, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best bow hands down Bought this bow this year and I was extremely impressed , i spent the last year going back and forth between Hoyts and mathews bows and shot both of those bows many times and couldnt decide and then I shot the bear mauler and i was impressed. This bow is extremly powerful and and shoots very well, I can easily put arrows in targets out to 45 yards no problem, I use carbon express mayhem hunter 350 arrows and I cant wait to send an arrow into some game animals this year. I bought the bow, arrows, release, bow case and field tips and muzzy 3 blade 100 grain broadheads and walked out spending around 800 bucks, not bad and this bow is definately worth it, now when I go to other archery shops and shoot hoyts and mathews I cant tell the difference in the way they shoot. The max draw length IS 26"-31" But when a manufacture ships the bow without the users measured draw length it will usually be set at 29"
Hope this helps!

The Bear site is definitely correct. Have checked multiple sites that all have it listed as 26-31 inches.Of course It's always safe to get it straight from the horse's mouth, the Bear website. There are no modules to buy, so this has nothing to do with BPS having certain modules. Only need a bow press for half inch increments. It's just a matter of hooking the string onto a different post to achieve the half inch difference.
