Rated 5 out of 5 by Great first bow I'm brand new to the archery world and this is my first bow. Not knowing much about bow hunting, and can't speak on how it compares to other bows. That being said, I'm very happy with the mauler. Very smooth draw and release. Very accurate. Easy to use. Plus, the guys at bass pro did a great job helping me set up the bow and adjusted for me September 27, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Bow!! I picked up a Bear Archery Mauler and couldn't be more happy with it. It was a toss up between this one, the Legion, or a PSE but with the Mauler on sale and the accessories that it came with it won! Charlie at the Fort Myers store took the time to make sure the bow was sized and adjusted for me and make sure we got it zeroed before I left! Thanks!! August 23, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect Picked up this BEAR ARCHERY MAULER COMPOUND BOW PACKAGE today. Very very good custmer service at Basspro in St. Charles they set up the bow for me in no time flat and had me shooting in side of 10 min. The bow was so quite that the only thing you hear is the sound of the arrow hitting the target. Plus I was going to by the wrong arrows and they helped me find the right one's for my bow. I will be coming back to this store from now on. The custmer service cant be beat and they dont sell you things you dont need. February 12, 2012

A:
The max draw length IS 26"-31" But when a manufacture ships the bow without the users measured draw length it will usually be set at 29"
Hope this helps!

The Bear site is definitely correct. Have checked multiple sites that all have it listed as 26-31 inches.Of course It's always safe to get it straight from the horse's mouth, the Bear website. There are no modules to buy, so this has nothing to do with BPS having certain modules. Only need a bow press for half inch increments. It's just a matter of hooking the string onto a different post to achieve the half inch difference.
