My 9 year old daughter and 11 year old son love this bow. It can shoot very far and is easy to use. The best part is it comes with something that can hold your air rows on the bow for you and when your ready to shoot another air Row one is right there. If you are looking for a bow this is great for adults and kids of ages.

I have an 8 and 6 year old girl and a four year old son. I bought this bow (even thought the lil brave II was on sale for $20 less and is a better bow in hindsight) so my little ones could learn. The bow is long and unless your child has very long arms, they will not be able to pull the bow back enough to have the arrow go 10 yards. I tried the bow and was able to get it to go the 10 yards to the target, but you have to elevate it so much, it was a joke trying to use the sight. I would recomend this for the four year old to just "do something" but it is not going to be a target bow by any means. I will keep it for the four year old, but am going to go uy the lil brave II before they go off sale.
Also, i thought the bow was 8-12 lbs pull and thought maybe you could adjust it....you cannot tighten the bow. Maybe another string. Hope this helps. I wish I would have known before I spent the $57.00.
