hopefully you already figured this out and got in the woods in time to smoke some whitetail, but your arrow depends on your draw weight. Arrows will say on the box 300, 400, 450 etc. those grains are different to accommodate different draw lbs. If you're pulling between 55 and 70 lbs use the 400's otherwise lower or raise your grain accordingly. Happy Hunting. P.S. Carbon, Carbon, Carbon!! stay away from aluminum arrows for durability sakeA:
There's no such thing as a 'practice arrow' so any arrow will be good for hunting. Just make sure you practice with the arrow first so you're used to the way it flies, aka, the weight. Make sure the arrow is appropriate for your draw & draw weight as well. Other than that, it's the broadheads that will make the difference.Details:
I'm looking for my first bow, but don't want a youth bow...Answers

With three draw weight ranges to choose from, you should be able to find one that suits your purpose. I've got a bad shoulder and went with the 50 to 60 pound draw. Believe me, it will do the job.A:
i think the encounter by bear is a good choice for a first bow. its super easy to draw back and its cheap enough that i wont break youA:
Not specifically for women, if your draw weight is 50-60# it would be fine for you.1 of 1
