best bow for beginners I got the bow about a week ago and it's great although the arrows have blunt edges it's still enough to kill squrills(chimpmunks) also it has a great price. April 22, 2012
great starter bow,bad quality arrows This is an excellent bow for starter and experienced people young and old. The arrows and arrow heads are very cheap because on the first day of owning it i broke the arrow and flattened the arrow heads. You get your moneys worth for the bow just be prepared to by new arrows and arrow heads. July 9, 2011
Great starter bow Got this set for my daughter (age 10) and its just right. Good price and the bow is good quality. Arm guard/quiver is a little cheap but the bow itself is worth the money. April 5, 2011
bow review My experience with this bow was phenomonal. It handled very well and I would recommend it to any archer young or old. February 2, 2011

A:
20# is not sufficient for anything other than very small game, and the arrows are target point only. At very close range, with blunts, small game might be a possibility, but remote.

Staff Answer
A:
No, the draw weight for this bow is on 10-20 pounds. You would need a heavier draw for hunting. This bow is good for teaching youth how to shoot a bow.

They are not suction cup ends. They are the silver bullet tip type. Not the sharp field arrow tips but the round blunt type.
