Good for price This set is perfect for my beginners. They really enjoyed getting out there and learning to use the bow and arrow. The Finger peices didn't hold up super well, but otherwise, a great option for the young novice! August 30, 2012
Disappointed The first day my son used the bow and arrows, the black end (nock?) of both arrows broke off. Most of the the feathers also came off both arrows. The bow is great but the arrows were a disappointment. April 17, 2010
first bow I bought this for a first bow for my grandson who is 10 years old. It is a little long for him right now but he can grow into it. The draw weight is just right for his age and size. December 19, 2012
Crusader Bow Set Picket this up for my 11 year olds birthday. It is just what I was hopping for. He will get a lot of good out of it, and the draw is long enough that I can comfortably shoot it to. May 18, 2009

A:
20# is not sufficient for anything other than very small game, and the arrows are target point only. At very close range, with blunts, small game might be a possibility, but remote.

Staff Answer
A:
No, the draw weight for this bow is on 10-20 pounds. You would need a heavier draw for hunting. This bow is good for teaching youth how to shoot a bow.

A:
They are not suction cup ends. They are the silver bullet tip type. Not the sharp field arrow tips but the round blunt type.
