I purchased this for my 7 (going on 8) grandaughter. I was a little concerned about the size, BUT it was not an issue. She LOVES it. Has used it every day including Christmas Day. It was VERY cold outside, but she wanted to try it out. By the day after Christmas, she was hitting the 75 point part of the target.
I would recommend this bow and arrow product for ANY young person.

I bought this for a first bow for my grandson who is 10 years old. It is a little long for him right now but he can grow into it. The draw weight is just right for his age and size.

This set is perfect for my beginners. They really enjoyed getting out there and learning to use the bow and arrow. The Finger peices didn't hold up super well, but otherwise, a great option for the young novice!

Got this bow for my daughters 10th Birthday. The package is nothing to write home about, but the bow is what you are getting here. We purchased a set of six additional arrows so that we didn't have to chase these two down repeatedly. Also upgraded the quiver and got a target block instead of this paper one. We all had fun with this bow and she loves it! Excellent as far as what you get for the money..

20# is not sufficient for anything other than very small game, and the arrows are target point only. At very close range, with blunts, small game might be a possibility, but remote.A:Â
No, the draw weight for this bow is on 10-20 pounds. You would need a heavier draw for hunting. This bow is good for teaching youth how to shoot a bow.Answers
