Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome Bow I was 12 (I am 13 now) when I got this bow for X-mas. This was my very first bow ever, entering me into to the world of archery! I cranked the draw weight right up to 55lbs the first day and probably shot my 4 arrows 100 times each, the whole time I didn't really realize it had to be sighted in, so I'm shooting this bow over and over without it being sighted in. So my grandpa came over and sighted it in and I was shooting 1 1/2" inch groups at 15 yards by the time he was done with me. I have already "Robin Hooded" a few arrows since then. Overall this is an awesome bow and I highly recommend this bow for any beginners out there! April 21, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Bow My first venture into the world of archery. Well constructed, easy adjustments. Fun and easy to shoot. Great first bow. March 29, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Her First Bow Bought this bow for my wife. She's never shot one before and was more than a bit intimidated by it. Jason at BPS in Denver answered all our silly questions and spent at least 2 hours setting the bow up and giving her shooting lessons. By the time he was done with her she was grouping arrows to 3 inches at about 15 yards, and she looked good doing it. She's wrong (left) handed with a 25 inch draw and I'm right/29 inch. Regardless, I had to try it out when we got home. Shooting it left handed I was able to group the arrows pretty good too. It easy to draw, very quiet, and fun to shoot. The quality is top notch compared to the other bows we looked at. A lot of bow snobs online give the big box store guys a lot of grief about their skills but I'm here to tell you they know exactly what they are doing and are great at it. Great job Jason and BPS, I'll be back to get a new bow for myself very soon January 9, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by No Brainer Bow I am 13 years old and I was in need of a new bow. This bow is amazing, I love that I can change the length, and weight as I grow. The sight is extremely accurate when you find a nice spot to shoot from. I would very strongly recommend a calliper release, because without one, it is hopeless. All in all. this bow is the smartest choice for a young lad or lass who wants to get better at what they like. If you want to get great at archery, this is the bow for you. Thanks Bass Pro! Make it left handed

Details:
My 12 year old son has shown an interest and I bought him a very low end bow to see if it would last. It has and I want to move him up.

He right handed and left eye dominant. I'm left handed right eye, go figure.

How difficult is it to change the configuration or does it come set up for a left handed shooter if left handed is ordered?

Thanks,
Bill

We have tried moving everything the first thing i noticed was the bracket that mounts on the bow that the sights screw to was on upsidedown i fixed them moved the peep sight around and even changed to an automatic real tree peep sight but it still shoots in the ground no matter what. What kind of arrows should i be using wander if that could be the problem

A:
I use warrior 400 100% carbon arrows. the whisker biscuit should be centered. then it's a matter of adjusting the front sight, which isn't easy given there is no gauge. it took me 3 weeks to zero in my sight. the thing to remember with the front sight is to follow the arrow. set a fixed point on the target so you're always aiming at the same spot. if you shoot high and to the right, move your sight up a little bit and right... where you are consistently shooting low. move your sight all the way down and then slowly raise it as you go... this is what I shot last night from 10m away.

A detailed description of the process to sight in your compound bow is too long for this message format. Please contact Customer Service at 800-227-7776 or contact the Archery Department at one of our retail stores. You may resolve the issue with a trip to an archery range.

A:
The quiver mounts in a slot on the frame of the sight with a release lever. I bought a simple hard case for mine ($40) and I take the quiver off and lay it separately in the case. I don't think the bow will fit with the quiver attached.
