This bow supprised me, purchased for daughter. It is smooth, accurate, easy to shoot. Great bow for starter or modest shooter/hunter. With the adjustments for draw length and poundage she should not out grow for along time.

I bought this for my 9 year old daughter as her first bow. It is a very good bow for the price. It is a little to hard for her strength, but she has a long draw length for her age, which increasess the bow weight. That would be the only complaint I have on the bow , is that as the draw lenght increases it olso increases the weight causing a slight issue for young archers with a tall small frame.

I have never shoot a bow before and never wanted to but my husband has found a new hobby. So the whole family got a bow! I shoot mine for the first time and could stack the arrows. I set the pound low to start and shoot for two hours. I really have enjoyed myself the bow is great.

When my fiance and I went to the archery shop to have his bow worked on, the last thing on my mind was a bow of my own. I saw this bow and was instantly smiling, I had never seen a PINK CAMO bow. The salesman saw me looking at it and said that was what I needed. I smiled and said naaa. It took him all of two minutes to get me to try it and I LOVED it!! It is so light and easy to handle. It fires smooth and it is SPOT on. I don't hunt but I love to shoot. After getting this bow, that may change.lol My fiance bought it for me for a wedding present and I have never had a better gift. It may be little but I have NO DOUBT it'll get the job done. Perfect first bow for the woman hunters out there.

This bow is offered in pink camo and regular camo. No purple so far.Answers

Absolutely. The adjustability from 20 to 60 lbs allows her to start low and comfortable and build up to a weight she could reasonably use for serious target shooting or hunting. I'd recommend a string stop to reduce risk of wrist slap and to quiet the string, though it is not really loud to begin with. Also, the pink camo doesn't hurt.Answers

If you are shooting at the lower weight ranges, you will want to go with a lighter weight arrow, perhaps 7.5 grains per inch. I recommend the carbon arrows. There are a lot of good brands to choose from. I like Beman. If you are not a serious target shooter, go with the less expensive ones with a tolerance of +-.006They perform really well. For tips, it again depends on the weight you are pulling. With less weight, go with perhaps a 75 grain tip. If you are shooting above 50lbs, you may want the 100 grain tips.

Could I hunt deer with this bow? Draw weight in Il is 40 so this should be able to do the job correct?
Answers
A:
Yes, you can hunt deer at 40 lbs in most states. Check your local regulations to be sure. Since it is in the low end of what is acceptable, you will want to stay away from the massive broadheads and go with something that will provide more penetration/smaller cutting diameter. Shot placement will be very important as will range. I would not recommend shooting beyond 25 or so yards at 40 lbs. If you can build up a little more strength, even just 5 lbs can really help. No doubt though you can kill a deer at 40 lbs.A:
A 40 lb. draw weight is adequated for hunting deer.Answers

Unless she is unusually tall, this bow should work just fine and have plenty of power to do anything including hunting. She can start out at a lower draw weight and built up to the full 60 lbs. If she is taller than 5' 8" she could probably use a bow with more available draw length. With some fairly decent accessories, this should be a very accurate bow and should last a good long time.A:
Yes, just be aware as the draw length is increased so is the draw weight.A:
Depending on her size and strength. I would be more idea that girls her age start with bows around 30 lbs. The stinger only offers 40 lbs.The PSE Rally is a better fit. But both the Stinger and Rally are pretty big bows, kind of heavy to even hold up.
The PSE Chaos is great for youth and women shooters.

The weight, according to the Bear website is 2.9 lbs. That is the bare bow with no sight or any accessories. It's really very light.1 of 1
