Bead Chain
Bead chain has been long used to weight shad flies and saltwater patterns - it's generally trimmed in twos and then tied across the hook shank like eyes. The black color bead chain is great for insect patterns like damsel and dragonfly nymphs, and for adding a shrimp-like look to a variety of popular bonefish flies.

Awesome product, works very well for a ton of flies, from salmon shrimp, trout bugs and bass crawdads.

I can go to the local hardware store and buy this stuff by the foot. The selection at hardware stores are limited as to size, to that used by lamps.Answers

18 inches i think. one thing to watch out for is steel bead chain. always use a magnet to check bead chain that way your flies will not have rusty eyes.A:Â
There are 18" per size. Probably the hardware store chains are much larger in weight.1 of 1
