I love this thing. Makes dealing with line so much easier. Highly recommend you try them. Best on flouro leader spool but good for braid and everything in between.

Excellent product. Bought several, will pick up a couple more.
Great for the leader reels I keep in the bag. Much better than the old rubber band method.
Easy to use and the cutter works great.
A little over pirced though IMHO, but in the end worth it.

Easy to set up and it works. For me, the best think is that it keeps the line on the spools nice. I fish braid with short flouro leaders most of the time. Flouro likes to spring out and make messy nests; this solves that problem nicely. I don't think the elastic will stand up to sun over time, but the line should be in the shade anyway.
