Just Got back from Fishing 3 Days On Knee Lake in Nothern Manitoba, Canada,
I bought the Lure Before I left Because I thought If I were a Fish, I would attack it.
That is exactly what Happened
Day 1 ....48 Nothern all under 41 inches
Day 2 ....6 Norhten over 41" Largest 46.5"
...............25 Northern 39-41 "
...............43 Northen under 39"
Day 3 ......3 Northern over 41"
..................39 Northern under 41'
...................1 Walleye 27"
The Lure is a Miracle Lure, The Treble hooks should be a little larger, as they had to be replaced because they were straightend out
and broken from all the action.
There is no Paint left on MY Z9R SwimBait from all the Teeth Marks, If I would have had more in my box, I could have made alot of money.
Went to Bass Pro Shop For dinner last night, and came home with 3 new Z9R swimbaits, I will never go fishing with out one.

Big Bass Catching Bait!
I have fished this bait on my last three fishing trips. Have caught 30 bass on the bait and 27 of the bass were 3-5 lbs. Great bait and a must have for every bass fisherman's arsenal. Don't let the size of the bait scare you away, big bass love it!

there are a few different ways to use this bait. i usually use it on a seven foot, medium heavy action baitcast rod on twelve pound test braided line (i use spiderwire, but any braided line will suffice) you can retrieve it like a crankbait, or when the bite is tough, i'll hold the rod tip at about a 45 degree angle, and retrieve the bait slow, just enough that you can feel the vibration in the rod tip. but there is no wrong way to use this bait try different retrieves to see what the fish want.
I am starting to fish for northern pike and need some new swimbaits. Is this a good one? What color should I get for dirty water. Stained to very muddy. I live in New York and need a cold water lure to swim nice and slow. Would this work?
Match the color to whatever baitfish (or as close as you can) are in the waters you fish Northerns for. This is my favorite hard swimbait. I prefer the ones without the bill, and use the XXX Shad for largemouth and stripers. The paint chips after a while, but this bait catches fish. Replace the rear treble with a smaller hook. As far as speed goes, you need a moderate retrieve to get the full action from the jointed body. But, you can twitch and pause as well, and I get a lot of strikes on the pause.
Yeah that looks like a good color for most situations. I understandwhy you would only want to buy one. The XXX shad reminds me of the sexy shad color. I also like the green shad color you just buy one I would buy the XXX shad.
I would at most think of your scenario if its cold or warm.you know cold water you would use lighter line because fish wont be as agressive. in warmer conditions use heveryer line. now with a swim bait I would recomed to use mmmm..... 20lbs depending on what reel you have smaller the reel smaller the line and dont try to get to caried away try to get as close as you can get to the perfect balance between line and reel ratio.
truthfuly if it swims bass will eat it. the qestion you should be asking is what color should i use in clear muddy or stained water.in clear water use 53 or even a 67, in muddy water use 72 and 50, in stained water use 53,67,and71. this will insure a strike on your lure.
It sinks Pretty Fast, But Fishing with the new 6:1 Gear Ratio Curado Reel, I was fishing in 2-3 feet of water and able to keep the lure 6 inches under the surface with no problem, it does not Dive, you regulate depth by how fast you retreive the lure
