Pay a little bit more and get better ones I bought these because they looked nice and the price was very good for the pair. I did use the plier two times before, but have never used the cutter until last weekend when I went fishing with my son (so the set was almost brand new). While fishing, I had to cut off the eye from one of the hooks I was using. As I was trying to cut the eye from the hook, and doing some pressure on the grip, when the handle from the cutter was broken completely (see picture). I would pay next time a little bit more money and get a better set that I can use it confidently. January 4, 2015
durable ive used these fer months and no sign of rusti even used at the bay...saltwater...still no corrosion they are durable and fittted in my povckets the sheath is strong too it seemsjusdt take care of these forlifetime lasting effect July 18, 2010
Pliers that worked I purchased a pliers combo from bass pro shop many years ago... my son claimed them and they have serviced us for the last 10 years.... just keep them clean. I decided I'm worth a pair for myself... so they were on sale which made it that more appealing . I did however remove the little springs between the handles.... not that they hampered the tool it was just that is what I wanted.... June 2, 2010
Would not buy again Tools are fine, however the sheath that comes with it is terrible. I used the set once and the sheath ripped. Now I am left with loose tools...which is a pain. June 16, 2010

I have found that most people put the side cutters in the front one and the needle nose in the back pocket.

Since they both are 6'' tools then it would not matter which pocket. I would put the tool I used the most in the front pocket.
