Bass Pro Shops XTS Mini Minnow Crank Bait
Best "little bait"
These little things work great for bass, crappie and bluegills when nothing else does. Because they are small and have a great swimming action just like a little minnow trying to escape, I have watched schooling bass fight over them. However, like the other review says they are a bit difficult to cast, but you can't have small and heavy in the same topwater lure! I was using a 5'6" UL spinning tackle with 10 lb braid (like sewing thread almost) and could only cast about 25 feet -- but that was enough to fill the stringer!

great in shallow waters
Fist i want to start off by saying that i would give it four and half stars if a could.
This bait is great if you are fishing in really
shallow waters, the only thing i would improve is making it dive deeper, at lest 5 1/2 feet, it will dive a about 2 feet at max, and that's not to good if you're fishing at about 3:00 in deep waters. I however did catch a few 8 to 9 inch blue gills, but i would have caught bigger ones if i could dive deeper, i could see them in deeper water, but, sadly the bait would not go deep enough.
I would recommend getting a Bass Pro Shops® Tourney Special Micro Light Mini Crank Baits instead of this, it still super cheep and works much better for bigger, and more fish.

Mini Minnow doesnt just catch mini fish.
After I bought it I took it right out to the lake and had great results. First fish I caught was a four pound trout and later I caught seven largemouth bass. Its very tough and easy to cast for such a small lure. Later after I left I went back to Bass Pro Shops and bought a couple more with different color patterns.

This little lure slayed the bass, bluegills and crappies!
I was catching fish on 5 of 6 casts on average. 1lb 'gills and crappie attacked this bait and 3-4lb bass were hitting it as soon as it hit the water. With my ultra-light rig this lure cast 30+ yards. Buy it!
