Rated 5 out of 5 by great and easy to use This is a great lure and the most realistic cricket ive ever used. All you have to do is cast it out and reel it in. And the fish just go CRAZY over it. Ive caught both trout and bass with it and it never fails me. This is a must have in your tackle box. July 5, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Mini Hopper plugs Seem to work pretty good. Both bass and Bluegill like them. June 29, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Warm days of summer! Here in New-Brunswick, Canada, in the hot days of summer when the grasshoppers are out and about, this lures rocks! I do a lot of wading, and the river I fish has a few fields that run up to it! There are a few spots where the grass hoppers are all hanging out! That's when I brake out these little lures! I cast where the real grasshoppers are all munching away next to the bank and just let it drift and give it a couple twitches and wait for a hungry brooky to hit it! I found that if you match the hatch as close as possible to the color of the lure, it's like a trout magnet! Give a shot! They work pretty well! Tight lines, and be safe! December 27, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Picture that Trout. I have been trolling a local lake for fifteen years, using this same type of lure and had no doubt it would perform well. On my last trip out I decided to switch my old lure for this new one and what a difference. With my second pass I, "it", scored: I couldn't believe my eyes. Hooking a nineteen inch 3pound trout the biggest I have ever caught. The remainder of the trip I caught several Crappie, Bass and even a cat fish. The best action I have seen in a hard lure. drives them wild. They say seeing is believing but I will tell you having one of these in your tackle box is like owning the telescope. And yes I have A picture of that Trout. September 11, 2011

That basically depends on the depth you need to fish it. You don't want to fish below the fish, but also don't want to fish way above them either.

Well yes and no. I have used a mini crankbait much like this and I have indeed caught bass on it. However, a bait this size is more geared toward a smaller panfish like bluegills, pumpkinseeds, and crappies. It is effective for spotted bass though. I doubt it is the greatest crank for targeting largemouth bass but maybe in cold seasons it would work well. I am not sure. Hope this helps.
