These great-looking little cranks are guaranteed to turn on the biggest panfish, crappie or bass in your favorite creek, pond or lake! The Mini Dad? Well, this shallow diver represents the tastiest morsel yet and sports an unbelievable action that drives 'em nuts. Try 'em all!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great lure, awesome price I have been totally satisfied with the Uncle Buck's minis. I cast this lure out one night a caught a one pound bass and a half pound bluegill back to back. Great wobble that just calls to the fish, even at night. August 4, 2008
Rated 4 out of 5 by Better than the Rebel Craw Great little crankbait for creeks or rivers. Great on panfish and smallies, but an overlooked option for trout as well. They have improved the hooks, but the paint scheme has changed a bit. It won't bother the fish, but it bothers me some. This a bait every river rat should carry. Spinning rod with 6 lb line or less required. November 23, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by DON'T BUY THIS LURE.. ...if you do you'll spend all your time taking every fresh water species of fish there is off the end of it. You’ll never get to experience “setting the hook’ either, fish hammer this bait so hard you’ll have to invest in pliers to dis-embed the hooks from the fishes mouths. Smallmouth, Largemouth, Rock, White bass…Walleye, Northern pike…Bluegill, Sunfish, Crappie…Channel Cat and Drum…you’ll never get to relax and just enjoy Nature! Now I don’t fish all the time because I have to earn a living and get a little sleep, but I’m never going fishing with this bait again…until tomorrow… ;-) . July 5, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Better Than The Teeny Wee Craw! I just bought a couple of these Mini Dad Crank baits and I'm very impressed with the action of these craws and their fish catching ability. Caught over 30 fish on this lure in just a half days fishing on the New River in VA. Smallmouth, Red Eyes Bass and Red Breasted Sunfish just hammer this lure. I like this lure better than the Rebel Teeny Wee Craw and I know its a great fish catcher as well but here's why I like this one better. #1) The hooks are a number 8 size compared to the tiny #14 hooks on the Teeny Wee Craw. #2) The mini dad is heavier than the Rebel lure so it casts further (I use 4 lb test on my ultralight gear) #3) Its got the same wobble as the Rebel that fish can't seem to ignore, they really hammer this lure when they hit it. #4) Its cheaper, not quite half the price but pretty darn close. If you like the Rebel Teeny Wee Craw then you will love this lure, get some you won't be disappointed. Oh someone mentioned the silver hooks that they come with. They are very sharp and work well. I switched one of the 2 mini dads I have over to the Eagle Claw Lazer Sharp number 8 trebles and left the other one with the stock trebles on it and didn't see any difference in the ability on hook ups and the stock trebles are sticky sharp. They are bright silver but the fish didn't seem to care about the color of the hooks at all. May 29, 2012

8's will work, but the lure will become a sinker. I switched the hooks to a round bend #10.

I only throw it on small streams. It isn't offered in many colors. I bought them all, but I like the dark brown with red belly best.
