Rated 5 out of 5 by Are you kidding these are good cant beat the price and they cut well my lure got stuck while catchin some smallies in the river i got these out and had my lure stuck on the thick black material on the river bottom its like a thicknylon material or sumfin it took a minute but i pulle3d it off without brakin my thin xts hooks and they cut line well for me i use um to cut my line alot and dey work basically plus fit inpocket also durable and no rust even if used in saltwater July 18, 2010

It does cut braided line however, It works about as good as normal pliers. I have found that the rapala scissors cut braided the best. Or keep a small razor blade in your tackle box.

its works for my line but i use it for 4 lb test mono or fluro or whatever
you might want to stick wit sumfin strongeeeer
