Field-tested on Lake El Salto with fantastic results, this buzzbait features a 4-blade prop, frog-shaped head, twin tail trailer, and a single hook rigged weedless.
Rated 2.1 out of 5 by 18 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Worst "buzzbait" ever This lure is cheaply made, blades don't spin, and swims sideways. Buy a war eagle buzzbait and actually catch some fish! June 18, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by forget it This bait is without a doubt the most useless bait in my tackle box. I bought this thing because I primarily fish topwater baits and it sure looked like it would do the job..... One of the problems with it is it's cheaply made. The plastic prop broke the first time I used it. I'll grant you that it broke when I tossed it into my tackle box but come on it should be able to withstand that. Another problem is that it doesn't generate much buzz. It is almost noiseless and that's not what you want with a buzz bait. The major problem though is the shaft that the buzz blade spins on. Unless you are fishing in a swimming pool or in water that is that clean forget this thing. Any amount of vegetation in the water will accumulate on the shaft. Not only on the area behind the bead but what's most annoying is that accumulates on the shaft in the cavity of the body. I found myself having to dig the debris out of there every third cast or so. And if you don't clean it after using it and you let it dry you can spend a lot of time trying to free up the shaft. Save yourself some money and buy a couple of good buzz baits instead of this piece of garbage. April 5, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing One of the best buzz baits I have love it if you like buzz baits get one you won't be disappointed January 23, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not up to expectation Cast terribly. Not much of a buzz. Structure flimsy. December 31, 2012

It's not necessarily too big but if you're in a good area for smallmouth you're probably better off throwing a popper or buzzbait
