Our top-of-the-line Bass Pro Shops XPS Platinum Series Life Jacket features soft, comfortable foam housed in 200 denier nylon and 500 denier Cordura® that take toughness to the extreme. This PFD is equipped with a 3-buckle zip-closed front, a side adjustment system for a perfect fit, a removable fleece-lined collar with reflective tape, a waterproof MP3/cell phone pouch with headphones opening, and a crotch strap that can be tucked away. The life jacket's 2 zipper handwarmer pockets and 4 storage pockets give room for gear, as does the leg strap pouch. There's also a D-ring for a kill switch lanyard. USCG-approved Type III. Imported.

I got 3 of these vest 1 3x and 2 2x the 3x can be adjusted down to large and the 2x can be adjusted down to small. Which is great for warm weather and for large winter clothes. they feel and look great, lots of pockets, a kill switch ring and plenty straps for your safety.

I took a chance and ordered a XL and a 2XL to see how both fit. I am a 44L; both fit, but I am going to use the XL. So far the quality is very good and the comfort level OK. The leg straps are a plus for fit when in the water so you can control it better. HOWEVER...I do want to be seen if I am in the water. I would rather have a more visible color choice here! Or some reflective tape on it. I ordered another one for my wife to wear. The smallest size available is M. A small size would be a good option.

It has everything my old PFD had that I liked, zippers, pockets, collar. Also has everything I WISH my old PFD had, removable collar, hand warmer pockets, waterproof pocket, removable kill switch clip, leg straps(which can be stored in a little pocket)

The back is foam strips that run up and down, these vest have good movement to them. I really like mines.A:Â
They are separate pieces but there's a sewn seam between each piece to keep them from moving around.

My vest is an XL. I couldn't find a Max. wt. listed but it did have a minimum of 90 Lbs. If one uses the leg straps, which is a feature on racing vests, you can't come out of it. The vest has been tested at 50 or 55 MPH.1 of 1
