XPS Phantom Towable Tube
Fun tube, minor problem
Bought this tube for use on a lake in NY. Internet-discounted price was great. Daughter and her friend (HS age) loved it - more comfortable than what we have used in the past, and relatively stable in the water (but can still catch some air going over the wake!). No problem with submarining either. But, it had a small leak at one of the seams, that appeared to be a manufacturing defect.
Fortunately, there was a Bass Pro shop near were we were, and they replaced it immediately with a new one - no questions asked. No problems so far with the replacement, so may have just been bad luck with the first one.
So, all in all I would recommend.

The product is not as described in the online description or on the shipped package. The item is described as a size of 76" x 73". It is actually 66" x 64". I may have misunderstood the inflated verses uninflated. It is fine for young children or small adults. Two adults at 125 to 135 pounds or less at about 5'-4" or less would be OK. Just to say 2 Persons at 340 pounds maximum is a little misleading. We were disappointed with the size. Regular price is listed at $220, I bought three weeks ago at $200, now listed at $130 ??? Unfortunately I purchased it 3 weeks ago, we went on our family 2 week vacation had no choice but to use it out of the box, you know the rest of the story.

U boat commander
Bought this last weekend for my kids ages 8 and 10, tube immediately makes a nose dive under water on start, also have the airhead bungee tow rope and that seems to make it worse. Kids were flushed out as soon as the boat started! Even with them leaning back as far as they could! Water was a little choppy but not so bad as you could not play, but this tube makes a nose dive for the bottom! Not worth buying. Other than that it appears to be a well made product, just not for tubing behind a pontoon!

Happy with the purchase
Looked at and read about serveral different brands before deciding on this towable tube. It has 3 compartments that need to be blown up. Seems to work great...it never tried to nosedive into the water when we took off. We've used it the last 2 weekends with children and grandkids. It was a definate hit. The kids fit down inside nicely and feel secure. We had 4 year olds riding independently and 2 year olds riding in a mom's lap.
