We can debate 'til the end of time as to whether or not the fish care about the color/image on the spoon. If the do care then these spoons are not good considering the paint flaked off and the "lazer eye" went missing after only a few casts.

Great for Redfish
Great spoon for catching redfish in the Louisiana marsh. Better results than with Johnson Silver Minnows. Use 1/2 oz. Firetiger and Baby Bass.

A big lure for big fish
I used the 1/2 ounce Golden Shad weedless spoon to pull in a large chain pickerel out of a thick weed bed. Other than that one experience, I've found it difficult to get a good hook set with such a large metal weed guard. Still, the lure reaches depth quickly, and has plenty of flash. Not my go-to lure, but still nice to have a few around.

So here is another version of the classic toothy-critter spoon. I like it because it delivers pike just like the other spoons that come only in chrome, gold, and black. I cannot say that the cool picture designs catch more fish, but it sure is awesome to throw! It works in the weeds and thats where the fish are. For every 50 pike I catch, there is usually a nice 4-pound largemouth that I get too. Works well in deep water, clear water but best in mid-weeds. Durability is good. I keep a lot with me and always seem to hand them out to the weekend guys who don't have any spoons with them. Get 3 or 4 and use them. Use a leader. You will catch fish.
