Bass Pro Shops XPS Freestyle Jig
Great Scouting Lure!
I use this lure to scout new spots when fishing offshore for snapper, grouper and live baits from my kayak. If anybody is home, the fish will hit this lure. The fish simply can't resist it! Sometimes the fish might not want to eat a piece of cut bait but because this lure flutters back into the fish's face, it will trigger an instant strike. There is no better jig on the market to scout holes offshore or catch small live baits in saltwater. I would give it 5 stars but the paint tends to shed after about 5 or 6 fish. But, I lose them to toothy critters right about the time the paint falls off anyways! HA!

If you haven't tried this lure, do so NOW.
It is easy to use and deadly on all saltwater fish.
This lighter size seems to work better in shallow water, about 70ft. or less than the heaver one, in the salt water catalog.
Fish do not get away with the assist hooks.

Best jiggin spoon ever
I have been using 1/2-1oz freestyle jigs for about three years now, they just flat out catch anything that swims - the plus side is that the hooks don't foul your line like traditional spoons with a treble hook, If you can see fish on your graph, you can forget about needing bait to catch Striped Bass, Hybrids or White Bass. I caught a ten # Largemouth on a 1/2oz model as well. They have become my GO TO winter bait
I just wish my OKC store kept them in stock -

In the past I've ordered these with the red line and covers on the hooks. The picture in the catalog showed this on one jig but when they came they were black. We use these at times spooning for fish in southern lakes and the fish like them when you need a change of lure. We've caught a lot of fish on them. We liked the red line and cover that seemed to add to the attraction. Wish they were in the southern stores so you could see the item better.
