Taking fish from skinny water can really get your adrenaline pumping, and that's exactly what the XPS Floating Minnows were born to do. Work it on the surface or crank it down and let it rise back up. Either way, the Floating Minnow's super loud rattles immediately draw fish to its brilliant, lifelike finish while the big-time action provokes them to strike. Extra-sharp hooks.
Our experts are impressed with the sculptured, naturally shaped body designs, the lifelike 3-D lazer eyes, the extra-loud rattles—and especially the hot finishes that replicate the natural colorization process (becoming more pronounced in direct sunlight, and somewhat less intense under the surface). Try one and see!
Rated 4 out of 5 by GWZinNC Try a Stop-N-Go Retrieve
This lure's best feature is that it rises slowly when paused, with a gentle wobble. Crank it down, pause it briefly, and expect to get a hit when you restart the retrieve. Fish working in 2-5 feet of water will hit this lure consistently. I would give it 5 stars if it had stronger hooks and split rings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jsmallmouthman Great minnow
This is a great minnow. The paint coat holds up to a beating caused by many caught fish. The hooks don't hold up as well as the hooks on rapalas but the cost of a few new hooks is much less than the cost of buying s rapala over one of these. This lick up fish wherever they are interested in minnows.

Not bad if you are fishing open water, otherwise real clumsy wobble and will snag any vegitation within 6 inches of it. Not for fishing skinny water.
