Light is very bright, but does not have a very concentrated beam. If your looking to see a huge area it will do the job, it works well for flinging downed game because of the wide beam. I gave it four stars because if your looking to see something far away you will have trouble. My $30 Maglite LED can shine farther cause of the narrow beam. I got about 30 min of runtime out of it which is ok for 1200 lumens. Overall very bright lite for the money.

I live on a farm and have 2 rotties as a security system. I can tell by their bark at night when they are just warning something/one and when they are serious. It's nice to be able to see what the heck all the ruckus is about. Nice light.

I recently purchased this light because I needed to replace a similar competative light that did not have a rechargable battery that could be replaced or the ability to use disposable batteries. This light is perfect. It has unbelievable brightness and is very well made. I highly recommend purchasing the seperate rechargable batterys that includes two sets and the battery charger. This is not an enexpensive setup, but if you are looking for a great lightweight flashlight that will last many years, this would be my choice. One of the reviews commented about it being a little difficult to turn on and off. I consider this a plus, because it is less likely to be turned on by accident in a backpack or bag. Because of the high intensity, the light does get hot and being turned on by accident is not a good thing. Another plus I found, is that the bright white light, it is suprising good for blood trailing downed game.

This flashlight is very powerful. It is a very good size also. Only wish it could be turned on from the side instead of the end. We would recommend it to others.
