Rated 4 out of 5 by High Quality Nice high quality weight kit, no problems here. We not be disappointed. April 7, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by helps keeps snag-free. I like to catfish and sometimes fish in rocky bottom areas using a good bit of weight on the line to hold large live bait in place. Sliding barrel sinkers do a very good job at this but sometimes they will become trapped against a rock upon retrieval and can cause me tolose my bait. I have found placing one of these worm weights on the line ahead of the barrel weights virtuallycures this problem. All of the select sizes available to you makes it easy when things dictate a change in fishing method for the day. April 3, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very Satisfied This is a great purchase. I think this kit is simple and good. April 8, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Bullet sinkers Sizes are fine but need to be filed and cleaned up so your line is not frayed as they slide on it. January 29, 2013

I only have a few tungsten weights left and I need some sinkers. If this is lead then how bad does it nick line? I have a couple old lead weights and they nick up my line like crazy.

I've used tungsten weights on occasion, but lead is what I use most often, and I've had no issues with line abrasion from these XPS lead weights.

Prior to attaching a swivel clip or a hook, thread your line through the hole that runs through the center of the weight from the tip to the flat end. Then attach your swivel clip or hook.

These are most often used for Texas Rigging soft plastic baits. Here is a good instructional article on Texas Rig fishing. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/s...
