Best Lure Ever
I couldn't disagree more with the other reviews that I read. I have fished this lure all around vegetation and inadvertently smacked a few trees. I haven't had a single issue with it getting tangled in vegetation, nor have I had anything on it break. This is my "go to" lure, when I'm getting few, if any bites, I tie this on and without fail, have always caught a fish within the first 3 casts. I have fished numerous waters and always the same outcome. As for the bites, I haven't had to set the hook a single time, because the fish hit it harder than anything I have ever fished. On more than one occasion I have even had the bass hit it so hard, that they breach. In short, best lure I have ever fished with in my life.

Does Catch Fish
I do a lot of fishing in areas with a lot of pads and flourishing coontail weeds. Naturally topwater is the best selection for these conditions. I would normally use the tride and true jitterbug when fishing top but the bulky treble hooks still get all snagged up on the high growing weeds. This lure for me has proved to be pretty durable ive fished it for weeks and have not had trouble with the prop snapping as other reviewers are reporting. There are some downsides to this lure though. The main one being that the trailer is very heavy and does not have the right kind of bouyancy that would look more natural. However the single hook has upped my fish landing percentage considerably because while jumping the bass cannot throw the hook as easy as a Jitterbugs treble. My favorite part about this lure is it's ability to stir up the top of the water like buzzbait while being able to drift right over pads like any other frog.

This is a cheap lure. I highly recommend not getting it. My blades broke the first day then the action stunk!!! my advice... get a buzzbait! same action but doesnt brake and cathches fish.

Looks Good But ......!!!!!!
First time out with this lure the action looked good. Several fish came up and bumped it. No big strikes. Then I noticed the blade had 2 flaps broken off. I did not smash it against anything. Just broken off for no apparant reason. Threw it out later that day. Save your money on this gimmick. Maybe if they improve the blade to aluminum instead of plastic it would be better.
