Bass Pro Shops® XPS® Tungsten Dropshot Weights
Half the size of comparable lead weights - and twice as loud!
A real breakthrough in performance. Environmentally safe, lead-free weights are 95% tungsten/5% nickel. Since tungsten is much heavier and harder than lead, you can downsize your offerings and still keep contact with the bottom - AND create more sound attraction, too.

I decided to go with tungsten a year ago and these tungsten dropshot weights proven it was the right decision. Not only they are good for the environment and human. They are compact, cast good, and hold on to the line tightly even after numerous casts. I left out about 1/2 an inch of tag line to prevent any slippage and so far none had occurred. Will get different sizes for different depth soon.

Works well easy to use this way you can ajust ur leader line one thing i have found is when u get a big one on it can make the weight pop off but if u put a simple loop in ur line problem solved like the beging of tieing ur shoe

love the sensitivity with the tungsten, nice drop shot wieght, but the round design picks up weeds easier, i prefer the diamond shaped ones for the weeds.

There may be a small percentage of lead in it causing it to conform to Prop 65. Anything known to the state of California to cause cancer has to have a warning on it...gas has this also...I wouldn't worry about the tungsten. Even thoriated tungsten containing 1.5% thorium is fineA:Â
Possible that there a little lead in the paint.....??? or they have some small traces of lead from the processing or manufacturing of the productAnswers

Yes, and they're a piece of junk. Unless you need a round weight for a specific presentation, stick to pencil shaped Tungsten DS weights from River2Sea.1 of 1
