Special tapered tube head, molded onto an oversized 60° jig hook. Cuts down those misses!
Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 20 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 Tube Hook The Tube Hook is better than some because it is a bigger stronger hook than is used in other molds. However the builder is careless/sloppy and did not bother to take the time to trim the excess lead from the head of his jigs creating a head that is sharp and tears tubes at an alarming rates if the angler doesnt do the builder work and file down the head. Once filed down though this is a very good product. July 6, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by more hook-ups certainly you will have more hook-ups with this hook. One disturbing thing is some of those hook-ups are deep ones, past the sphincter to the stomach resulting in a deep hook set that may kill the fish. with different jig heads it was 3 misses to one hook-up. With this jig head it's was simply a 10 for 10. If only I could get my reflexes a little sharper June 28, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best tube heads I have been using these tube heads for quite a few years now. They are the best I have used. With other heads, the hooks have actually been bent, from large pike. Not these. They are extremely strong, and hook-set is easy with them. April 3, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good, but... Good product, very sharp hooks, good value for the money. However, I can say that I lost some smallies because of the shape of the hook : it is pointing downward when, according to me, it sould be parallel with the jig. March 29, 2010

I would not use it with craws unless they were the kind with the hollow belly area. If that is the case, then they could work well.

YES! This is an excellent crawdad jig. I use nothing but this jig when fishing plastic craws around rocks. If your craw has a hollow body put the point of the hook through top of the nose of the craw then work your weight into the hollow and to the back of the body. Push the eye through the top/back of the craw and you're ready to go.

Not sure of the brand. What i do know from experience is they are a very durable and stout hook and are very sharp. I use them over until I lose them.
