Special tapered tube head, molded onto an oversized 60° jig hook. Cuts down those misses!
Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 16 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Tube Head I use these in 1/8, 3/16, and 1/4 oz sizes. Hook is a little short for tubes larger than three inches, however when insert weighted end into tube dont push it all the way to the end. Bring hook eye out side a little way down the tube and you will get a better more natural fall. Smallmouth here in Washington eat them up. I pair with Yamamoto watermelon or white tubes depending upon what fish are telling me. February 10, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for smaller tubes These tube jigheads are great for smaller tubes, especially when fishing in rivers with current. The fall is somewhere between a slow spiral and rocketing to the bottom (depending on the amount of weight and the current). The hooks are sharp, very sturdy and long lasting. The wide gap does increase hooksets after you get used to it. The only downfall is that the hooks are not long enough for tubes larger than 3 inches, causing the tube to curl on the hook. When fishing for river smallmouth I rarely use a bigger tube, but if I do, I just tear the tube a little near the bend in the hook to allow the tube to straighten out. April 26, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by great hooking power I tournament fish Lake Erie and Lake St Clair quite a bit. I have fished pretty much every tube jig on the market and i must say these are the best. Big smallies stay hooked when these jigs are driven home..Great product December 7, 2007
Rated 5 out of 5 by xps tubehead hooks This product is outstanding, hooks are ultra sharp out of the package and they don't dull up fast like competitors hooks, very impressed with the strength of this hook. I've never have bent it straight even when snagged in large chunk rock or stumps. Its the only tube head in my box and its nice as it comes in 3/8 oz size also. Thanks BPS Bob November 10, 2006

A:
YES! This is an excellent crawdad jig. I use nothing but this jig when fishing plastic craws around rocks. If your craw has a hollow body put the point of the hook through top of the nose of the craw then work your weight into the hollow and to the back of the body. Push the eye through the top/back of the craw and you're ready to go.

A:
Not sure of the brand. What i do know from experience is they are a very durable and stout hook and are very sharp. I use them over until I lose them.
