THat is the reason I purchased them; because the hoks are designened well ;and do not bend easily with larger fish.

I use these XPS heads on my gitzits when fishing anywhere except for heavy cover. They provide a solid and sharp hook. I seem to get a higher percentage of hook-ups when using the XPS.

I use only these hooks when rigging hollow tubes. I use 1/8 ounce for better action and the sharpness of the hooks are great. Give them a try, you will find hook sets are much easier.

YES! This is an excellent crawdad jig. I use nothing but this jig when fishing plastic craws around rocks. If your craw has a hollow body put the point of the hook through top of the nose of the craw then work your weight into the hollow and to the back of the body. Push the eye through the top/back of the craw and you're ready to go.A:Â
if your talking crawdads imo no they wouldn't be a good choiceAnswers

They are Gamakatsu hooks.A:Â
Not sure of the brand. What i do know from experience is they are a very durable and stout hook and are very sharp. I use them over until I lose them.1 of 1
