I started throwing these trailer hooks on my spinnerbaits a few months back and haven't had a short strike since. Anything that bites will get hooked. It's a must.

I don' buy these hooks to use on a spinnerbait. I buy these hooks for bait fishing in salt water. I've caught several stripers in the forty inch range using a 3/0 with bloodworm in the delaware bay. Also the 2/0 and shedder crab works great for weakfish!!!

I first purchased this item and noticed the tubing did not fit snugly on the main hook of the spinner bait.
There is a quick fix to this, slide the tubing over the hook eye of the hooks that come in the package, then just put the main spinner bait hook through the eye of the trailer hook eye with the tubing, fits snug and looks like a good fix.
I have not caught anything using this method but have seen some other post online about using this method and it works like a charm for them
