I bought these in white, chartreuse and black because kalin's lunker grub doesn't have those colors. Not as good as kalin's but do the job.

I haven't tried this color before in my favorite small mouth spots, but they hit this lure agressively. The only problem I encountered was when smaller fish tried to take the lure and only grabbed the tail.

the best plastic bait ever. catch all types and sizes of fish. If they wont hit this, then they are not going to hit anything. the XPS grub is the only grub I throw. use with a 1/8 bullet weight and a 2 ought hook. the fish love the garlic and salt combo. warning once you start using this product all the other plastics fall to the waist side.

the description says anise scent but the catalog says that all BPS plastics now come with 8up scent. which is correct?

as far as I know if plastics are scented so be it. I use Berkly Powerbait walleye scent for I fish perch and perch and walleyes travel together.Anise has a distinctive scent so just smell the grub and you will know. The grub i buy i say they don;t but who am i to say and if the product works don't fight it use it as i do. 8up scent i have no idea.
