The XPS Platinum Series life jacket, is well made, large enough for layered clothing, for fall boating. The two groin safety straps are a must for staying inside your PFD in rough water situations. Without the added two groin straps, you will have a tendency to slide out of the PFD, after being in the water for a while.

Excellent vest for the money. I recently replaced my favorite vest and this one was a great choice. It is very comfortable. I normally wear a size medium so I ordered a large so it will fit over a jacket.

Did a lot of looking around and went with this one. No regrets. Lots of pockets for storage and lots of arm room for paddling, casting or whatever. Very comfy. Great purchase.

My chest measures 43" and I wear a medium shirt. I bought the platinum lifevest in a size large. It fits well with a light jacket on and is a little bit big with just a tshirt on. I hope this helps you decide.
My vest is an XL. I couldn't find a Max. wt. listed but it did have a minimum of 90 Lbs. If one uses the leg straps, which is a feature on racing vests, you can't come out of it. The vest has been tested at 50 or 55 MPH.
