Bass Pro Shops® XPS® Oval Split Rings - Special oval shape ensures that you tie off in the same place (and never in the split) for a true running bait every time.

Bass Pro Shops XPS Oval Split Rings 4.7 5 30 30
Best There Is When tying lures on the normal split ring it always seems that the knot slips down to the split of the ring and have to retie or I lose my lures due to the line breaking at the knot. These oval split rings take care of that problem as the line is tied at the oval end of the rings. I have replaced all of the split rings on my lures with them and since I love using crank baits that means I had to replace over 100 round split rings with the BPS oval rings. I just bought another couple of #3 oval split rings to finally replace the round rings that are on some of my topwater lures. I just don't have to deal with the aggravation of a round split ring anymore and will always change them out on every new crank bait or topwater lure I buy. December 10, 2014
great upgrade I buy these split rings to replace ALL my crankbait split rings...with the oval design, your knot is on the curved portion, making a stronger union between the knot and the split ring. This is a great design, and I have never had an oval split ring fail...a must have for crankbait fishermen... March 2, 2014
Easy tie ups These oval split rings are great for crank baits. It seems the knot always wants to land near the split. With these oval rings you never have to worry about the line breaking because its tied in a bad spot. I am pretty sure KVD likes oval split rings for this reason too. Besides your baits are a little freer for better action. Try it. December 19, 2013
an Oval split ring yes, indeed. This will hang hooks as needed. I like these oval rings. October 14, 2013

I like the size 3 for just about every bait I have, except the smaller topwater baits and have size 2 on them. Both sizes should work fine for the 20lb.

I would reccomend the size 3. That size is comparable to the round split rings found on most crankbaits and topwater baits in the 1/4-3/4oz. sizes.

Hi, depending on the lure size I use 1 or 2. One is for the smaller baits, two the bigger. Great product!!!!
