Rated 4 out of 5 by They catch bass! Dollar for dollar, they catch bass as well as the more expensive off-set hooks. December 20, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Hooks My husband and I use these hooks for all of our Texas rigged senkos and they are very durable and hook a lot of fish. July 15, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by A good hook A very good hook and you can`t beat the price. They work well with worms. June 27, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by xps hooks the hooks are cheap for sure. the shanks are strong and reliable but the tips turn and dull very easily. I had to sharpen the hook tip numerous times, where as with a Gatsu or other like them you will not have this problem. September 12, 2011

A:
Really depends on what lure you use. I normally use 2/0 hooks with Berkley Gulp! 7" worms.

Staff Answer
A:
Hook size should be matched with the size of the bait. If throwing a very small worm (such as a 4" bait) going with a 1/0 hook would be the prefered choice, however, when throwing large baits such as a 10" worms, it should be suggested to use a 5/0 hook.
