I have used #4 Octopus hooks for the past three years fishing Salmon and they are great, super stronge and super sharp

These hooks are great except I wish the shanks were just a bit longer, they are great for setting the hook, extremely sharp wallys usually never get away, when gills are very active they can get the hook kinda deep thats where the longer shank would come in, I have used these about three years and just had 2 more 25 paks delivered, great product.

Good hooks, but won't hold their color
I use these hooks for striper and hybrid fishing. I have never foul-hooked a fish with one of these hooks yet. All hook sets are in the corner of the fish's mouth. Get one bite and most of the red coloring will be gone on the hook though.

Solid Hooks at a Great Price
These hooks are a great value for wacky rigging and dropshoting. They are extremely heavy duty and will not bend out. They could be sharper, but for the price, they cant be beat!

For tubes, I use a 3/0 or 4/0 wide gap worm hook and xps tube weights. I fish wacky style with o-rings using the O-Wacky tool. 2/o is a perfect size with orings. It leaves all of the hook exposed, doesn't weaken the worm, and is surprisingly weed resistant.
