These XPS® Octopus hooks are made from the finest quality components!
Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 35 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Like the red I have to say GREAT DEAL. I picked some up during the fishing sale in March. Shrimp slides right on for fishing for CATS. They are stong. Hold. Never have broke one. Think I should get more.........but my wife would kill me March 6, 2008
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great set of hooks I drop shot every time I go out on the water and these hooks work great. They are very strong and withstand massive strikes. Work very well in red/brown stained water. Awesome product by Bass Pro Shops. February 29, 2008
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good hook. Great line of hooks, very good value. Easy to see in early light and late afternoon when the sun is going down. Pick some up, you won't regret it. January 16, 2008
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Quality & Price These hooks have the strength, quality, and hold the sharpness of the tip as well as hooks costing much more. They are excellent when you need a good hook you can depend on when fishing for larger species. These are my go to hook for large catfish and stripers when baitfishing. January 10, 2008

Recommended size?

Details:
Hello. I am willing to buy these hooks, but I don't know what size would be the best for 2-3/4" tubes and 5" wacky worms . Can anyone help me? (I was thinking about 2/0)

Thank you in advance.

A:
For tubes, I use a 3/0 or 4/0 wide gap worm hook and xps tube weights. I fish wacky style with o-rings using the O-Wacky tool. 2/o is a perfect size with orings. It leaves all of the hook exposed, doesn't weaken the worm, and is surprisingly weed resistant.

yeah, but your better off using something els. the bait has a tendincy to go over the hook and make it almost imposible to get a good hookset.
