These XPS® Octopus hooks are made from the finest quality components!
Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 35 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Value This is a good hook. I use 1/0 or 2/0 for wacky rigging senkos or other stick baits. I use these smaller hooks o-rings. They make the worms last alot longer and keep more of the hook exposed. September 24, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by good this hook are good putting a gary yamamoto lure on your line so ill say a good hook July 28, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by fish hooks This product was as advertised. Very high quallity. July 19, 2010
Rated 3 out of 5 by good hook The hooks i purchased are sharp! And i goofed and bought the smaller size, which is resulting in swallowed hooks. But the red anodizing is wearing of quickly. Next purchase will be non anodized. July 9, 2010

Recommended size?

Details:
Hello. I am willing to buy these hooks, but I don't know what size would be the best for 2-3/4" tubes and 5" wacky worms . Can anyone help me? (I was thinking about 2/0)

Thank you in advance.

A:
For tubes, I use a 3/0 or 4/0 wide gap worm hook and xps tube weights. I fish wacky style with o-rings using the O-Wacky tool. 2/o is a perfect size with orings. It leaves all of the hook exposed, doesn't weaken the worm, and is surprisingly weed resistant.

yeah, but your better off using something els. the bait has a tendincy to go over the hook and make it almost imposible to get a good hookset.
