excellent It was excellent I cought a 15 pound bass in San Marcos Tx, river.I got picers with it it was a keeper but i let it go because it looked pregnent. My rod allmost busted in half.I jut wanted to tell you thats a good hook. June 26, 2007
Great product. I used these hooks for salmon this year. I bent several other more expensive brands on these hard running fish, not these, they held up great and stayed sharp. Will definitely buy more for next year. November 6, 2013
Great set of hooks I drop shot every time I go out on the water and these hooks work great. They are very strong and withstand massive strikes. Work very well in red/brown stained water. Awesome product by Bass Pro Shops. February 29, 2008
good hook The hooks i purchased are sharp! And i goofed and bought the smaller size, which is resulting in swallowed hooks. But the red anodizing is wearing of quickly. Next purchase will be non anodized. July 9, 2010

Recommended size?

Details:
Hello. I am willing to buy these hooks, but I don't know what size would be the best for 2-3/4" tubes and 5" wacky worms . Can anyone help me? (I was thinking about 2/0)

Thank you in advance.

A:
For tubes, I use a 3/0 or 4/0 wide gap worm hook and xps tube weights. I fish wacky style with o-rings using the O-Wacky tool. 2/o is a perfect size with orings. It leaves all of the hook exposed, doesn't weaken the worm, and is surprisingly weed resistant.

yeah, but your better off using something els. the bait has a tendincy to go over the hook and make it almost imposible to get a good hookset.
